16 February. 2021

For a while now, traditional sport teams and leagues have started incorporating eSports as part of their structures.

Both the NBA and the MLS in the US already have eSports versions of their leagues with each team in the league having eSports players representing them.

The latest case of this integration by  traditional sports is the French Ligue One – The official french football league in France.

Ligue One, in partnership with UberEats, will be hosting a FIFA21 Eligue1 tour with invitationals from 6 countries. The participating countries will run their own qualifiers with the winners representing their countries in the grand finals in France, 8-9th May 2021. Africa will be represented by Ivory Coast and Morocco.
