Riot Games has announced that the finals of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship will be broadcast in cinemas.
The 2021 finals will take place at the Laugardalshöll Indoor Sports Arena in Reykjavík, Iceland, on November 6.
This is the first time that there will be no audience, but with the initiative to broadcast in over 70 cinemas across Europe, fans will have the opportunity to be part of the action.
The broadcast is made possible with the help of distribution company Piece of Magic and the American theatre company National Amusements.
This is not the first time Riot has broadcast the League Worlds finals live. In 2019 European fans got the chance to watch the match between Funplus phoenix and G2 Esports in over 150 cinemas across Europe.
