Coca-Cola, the manufacturer of soft drink company, and insurance company State Farm are rethinking their partnerships with Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch League.
The two Companies went with this dicision as a result of the harassment and discrimination allegations against female employees at Activision Blizzard.
State Farm requested that they will not need advertisements to be run during Overwatch matches this past weekend while rethinking their limited marketing relationship with the Overwatch League.
Coca-Cola, too, took a step back and reevaluated their future plans and programmes.
Both Coca-Cola and State Farm are two companies from the seven sponsors that are currently viewed on the Overwatch League website.
Also, last week, T-Mobile, one of the sponsors of Overwatch and Call of Duty leagues, withdrew from official broadcasts.
Activision Blizzard employees staged a walkout outside of Blizzard Entertainment headquarters last week and former president of Blizzard, J. Allen Brack, stepped down Tuesday.
